Jesus doesn’t look the same after the resurrection, and so Mary Magdalene and the disciples have a hard time recognizing Him.
The resurrected body of Jesus is present in the Holy Eucharist hidden under the appearance of bread and wine, and we often have a hard time recognizing Him there.
