No matter what happens, Jesus is close to us in the present moment.
This week’s episode
No matter how much we have messed up in the past, Jesus gives us a brand new moment to start anew and live it with Him and for Him.
Look at the birds. God takes care of them. If God takes care of the birds, how much more will God provide for us.
Worrying is a waste of time. When we worry about something coming up, the anticipation of the event is worse than the actual occurrence of it. Why? Because beforehand, we don’t yet have the grace to go through it. When it is upon us, we then have the grace of the present moment.
Takeaways
- When we live in the past, we miss all the graces that God wants to pour out on us right now.
- We have to practice living in the present moment because we tend to go back or forward.
- Living in the present moment takes conscious effort: the more we practice it the better we’re going to get at it.
