We need to simplify Christmas. God is simple. Look at how he chose to be born — Mary was a simple girl. She married a simple carpenter. God announced the news first to humble shepherds.
Christmas should be about celebrating the birth of Jesus, Son of God. How did this simple birth grow into the commercial occasion that it is today?
