Mary Ann goes through Pope Francis’s encyclical, Laudato Si – On Care for Our Common Home. She compares that with a book Father Thomas wrote called, God’s Goods, which has strikingly similar passages.
Then she gives some practical things we can do to make a start in having our own ecological conversion:
  1. Don’t waste water
  2. Reduce, reuse, recycle
  3. Use cloth napkins instead of paper
  4. Don’t use disposable plates, cups or utensils
  5. Never use styrofoam
  6. Carpool to save gas

About Mary Ann Halloran

I’m a wife, mom, grandma, and follower of Jesus. Besides homeschooling my kids for 30 years, I have been an active member of a lay missionary community that serves the poor. I love spending time with my family, playing with my grandkids, and drinking a hot cup of tea in front of our wood-burning stove in the winter.
