I begin a series on St. Ignatius of Loyola’s rules for discernment of spirits, drawing on Fr. Timothy Gallagher’s material as well as the actual rules from the Spiritual Exercises.
In this talk, I give a brief history of Ignatius’s life and how he started to understand the different movements of the heart – what was coming from the enemy and what was coming from God.

Years back I had take The school of spirituality and inner healing for two years by Fr. Wheeler, but some how I felt those two years were not enough. There was lot going on in my life in the 80’s and no wonder I’ve struggled spiritual all these years cause I want to be in control and listen to the deceiver than the Lord, also even after having spiritual directors I was still struggling spiritually. This podcast has given me an eye opener cause I admit I have rejected in not taking action. It’s time for me to take action. Thank You Ellen! ????
