Continuation of a series of talks I gave on St. Ignatius of Loyola’s rules for discernment of spirits, drawing on Fr. Timothy Gallagher’s material as well as the actual rules from the Spiritual Exercises.

Rule #9 – St. Ignatius gives 3 principles reasons why God allows us to go through times of desolation

Rule #10 – prepare ahead of time, while in consolation, for the next desolation
