Jesus goes ahead to prepare a place in heaven for us. God knows us each individually — our joys and our sorrows — and he is always with us. We can’t hide from God.
The Lord wants us to know him very closely, too. Jesus invites us to come to him. We often go to everybody but Jesus. The Lord wants us to cast our burdens onto him because he cares for us.
