Elisha had his servants make a big pot of soup, but there was poison in it. There was a famine going on so instead of throwing out the soup, Elisha threw some ground meal in it and the soup was fine.
God uses Elisha over and over again for many miracles, as we can read in 2 Kings. Elisha had a lot of faith and expected God to work.
Father Thomas expected miracles to happen, and they did.

Sharon K Schrunk says
Ms. Mary Ann-
I was privy to visit the Lord’s Ranch with Kelley O’Brien and Randy Ricklefs and youth from Iowa on multiple occasions …as the girls’ chaperone… as I have taught high school rel. ed for 20+ years and continue to still… with the grace of God.
We represented 12 parishes from Iowa…if you can remember. We were there when Fr. Rick was alive and then for a year or two after his passing.
It was a beautiful experience…I have shared this experience with others over time. Our kids became fast friends with Bernie, Sal, and others.
Just wondering if there is any text that is available to me explaining the miracles you have listed above in your commentary?
I would love to be able to relate to my students… with accuracy…. some of these miracles.
God is so good!!!
Blessings always,
Sharon (Schrunk)
